Wheeled vehicles are tough. Ellipses tend to be one of the most overlooked aspects of any drawing and when it comes to a vehicle with wheels, it gets pretty daunting to get the wheels to sit in the correct perspective space whilst handling a slick volume that they're supposed to sit in. The following lecture goes over some basic perspective plotting techniques I would use to handle designing these things.
