Struggle with making images? This video dissects compositions and goes over some core concepts on how to design an image, specifically environments. Most everything you would need to know is in here, there are definitely more advanced ideas, but to me, not worth doing if the basic design isn't working right. At the end of the day, if the basic design structures are working, the image is going to look pretty good. Any other subtlety on top is icing on the cake.
